When is Cider Fest at the Daniels Farmstead? What is it?

Cider Fest is a beloved annual tradition at The Daniels Farmstead. Taking place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 11 AM – 3 PM, Cider Fest encourages visitors to sip, savor, and celebrate the flavors of fall – all while enjoying live music, shopping over 30 local businesses, and grabbing bites at Doris’ Kitchen and other food vendors.

Cider Fest runs alongside the Daniels Farmstead’s weekly Sunday Farmers Market, with October 4th’s event being the last event of our 2026 season.

Cider and Fall Make a Brew-tiful Pair

Cider is the name of the game at Cider Fest, and there’s nothing like pairing New England’s iconic autumn season with the taste of a beloved apple beverage.

This year at the Daniels Farmstead, we’ve been brewing something new, and we’re excited to give you a sneak peek at it during this year’s Cider Fest! As we work towards the future launch of Blackstone Valley Cider Co. – which will one day operate on-property – we’ve been working and experimenting with cider brews. Cider Fest will be an opportunity to try The Daniels Farmstead’s very first batch of hard ciders, including a delicious pumpkin-spiced hard cider!

In addition to our cider, Stormalong Cider will be at the farm pouring from their assortment of delicious cider blends. If you’re a fan of quality, taste, and respect for the apple – be sure to have a taste of what Stormalong Cider will be serving.

One More Chance for Farm-to-Table Produce and More at the Market

One more market at the Daniels Farmstead means one more chance to stock up on farm-to-table produce brought to you by our local farmers! Bring a bag, because all the fresh produce calls for more than just a handful!

On October 4, we’ll have three local farmers set up at the market with their signature products. If you’re looking for artisan produce and fresh-cut flowers, Stone Meadow Hand Grown Produce is the vendor for you – and if you’re brave enough, grab some Carolina Reaper peppers from their stand! Willy’s Way Farm should be your go-to spot if you’re looking for corn, perfect for pairing with a hearty autumn dinner. Pranaveda Farm’s goods come from just feet away from their booth – proudly growing wholesome produce directly on the Daniels Farmstead property.

Aside from shopping for produce, you can also support a local farmer at Chaos Farm’s booth, who specializes in locally grown and sewn alpaca fiber goods. From accessories like hats, gloves, and scarves to stuffed animals, dryer balls, felted soaps, and more, discover a luxury feel with their unique products.

Wagglebee, a natural-practice apiary and Daniels Farmstead favorite, will be returning to the market with their raw and infused local honey, sweetened jams, and a variety of pickled products and salsas. For even more honey products, stop by Don’t Bee Shy’s booth for honey, infused honey, and beehive-inspired bath and body products.

Autumn is also the season of maple! For all things syrup, treats, and more, Maynard Maple will be on site with some of the highest quality maple products.

Unique Goods, Gifts, Decor, and More from Our Artisan Handicrafters

There’s never a shortage of artisan crafts at the Daniels Farmstead, and with vendors selling items ranging from candles and decorations to accessories, apparel, and more – you’re sure to find something you would love to bring home.

Decorate for the season with handcrafted wood products from Big John’s Wood Joint, painted canvases from Happy Crafting Circle and Sonja’s Artistry & Creations, and the suncatchers and windchimes from Plantiques Shop. CandleInterpretations has artistically inspired candles that will bring art to the burn. For palm wax candles and melts that will bring delightful scents to your home, make sure to visit Lisa’s Mia Bella Candles, and for a diverse array of all-natural fragrances, Farmwicks Candle Co. has cleaning products, body-care items, sprays, diffusers, and more. Honestly Necessary will have the smaller pieces you’re looking for, made with resin; they have seasonal frames, trays, vases, and more.

If you’re looking for something soft and carefully designed, the fibre-crafters have a variety of goods to choose from. My Sewing Obsession is obsessed with embroidery; explore beautiful designs among towels and aprons, to framed art and notebook covers. Crochet lovers can pick up intricate plushes from SoftSprout Designs, and a variety of accessories from The Cozy Hooker. RippedSeamz hand-sews bags, totes, pouches, and other items, and Annie’s Repurposed Treasures focuses on upcycling fibre goods into something new.

For some new clothes, try out Laney Cakes Farm Stand & Boutique’s bamboo apparel and other curated boutique goods; The Life Function will also have a variety of garments to check out.

Can’t decide on what you’re looking for? Jackson’s Creative has an assortment of handmade goods such as log ornaments, tumblers, gnomes, painted slate, keychains, and more. Handmade Gifts & More will have items ranging from goat milk lotions and soaps to resin and crochet items. Soulfully Lush focuses on all-natural products for household and personal care – pick up cleaners, toothpaste, and sugar scrubs at their booth!

Jewelry You Can’t Find Anywhere Else

We’re excited to have two jewelers at the market on October 4, offering unique handmade creations you can’t get anywhere else. Lilly Bean Silver Jewelry offers timeless silver jewelry including pendants, bracelets, rings, and earrings. The Jewelry Box will also be there – with wire and chain jewelry, polymer clay charms, glass beads, and other accessories like key chains and phone charms.

Treats for All

Baked goods will be aplenty at the market. Healthy Express will have scones, cookies, and breads, along with other snacks like trail mix and nuts. Lil’ Miss Bakery focuses on sourdough goods ranging from bread to bagels, cookies, scones, and more.

In the truck zone, T.C. Scoops will be serving up their iconic ice cream in classic flavors, and Twizted Beveragez will also be back with their award-winning lemonade and limeade.

And don’t forget, this will be your last chance in the 2026 season to grab a fresh-off-the-grill bite from Doris’ Kitchen, where burgers, dogs, and other backyard classics will be made-to-order.

The treats at the farm aren’t only for humans – Pettree Treats will have homemade dog treats and snacks ready for purchase at their booth!

But Wait… There’s More!

If you’ve been waiting to start your wellness journey, meet with Stephanie Wheaton, who will be talking about her coaching brand, sampling feel-good beverages, and creating a welcoming space where people can explore simple and balanced ways to support their health.

RoxyLeigh Studio, owned by a local and independently published author, will be sharing some of their published novels, original one-page products, and even some handmade paint kits!

Take the opportunity to connect with locals at the Blackstone Senior Center’s booth, where you can grab information about elder services and learn about how to advocate for seniors in the community.

For those thinking about starting a home project, stop by United Home Experts’ booth, learn about their family-owned exterior remodeling services, and even grab some freebies.

Jam Out to an Energetic Live Performance

It wouldn’t be a festival at the Daniels Farmstead without live entertainment. For our last 2026 event on October 4, we’re excited to host So Lucky: A Tribute to Dave Matthews, who will be performing from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The tribute band will bring a celebratory, jam-heavy atmosphere to the event, immersing the event in the iconic hits of Dave Matthews Band.

Don’t Miss the End of an Incredible Season

Admission to Cider Fest and the Daniels Farmstead Farmers Market is free, although food and vendor purchases are sold separately. While not required, parking donations are appreciated and go directly towards supporting the Daniels Farmstead, preserving the historic property, and ensuring we can continue to grow our community events year-after-year.

October 4th’s event will be the last of the 2026 Daniels Farmstead season, and we will return for markets, events, and festivals in summer 2027. Make sure to keep an eye out on our website, Facebook, and Instagram for updates.
