A summer Sunday at the Daniels Farmstead is about to get even more delicious. BBQ at the Farm will take place on Sunday, July 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., bringing together barbecue, live music, local vendors, and plenty of time to enjoy the historic property.
Goodstuff Smokehouse will be on-site serving a selection of barbecue favorites, from slow-smoked brisket and classic comfort food to hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. Whether you are planning to sit down for a full barbecue lunch or pick up something while exploring the market, there will be options for guests of all ages.
Live music will add to the atmosphere throughout the afternoon, making it easy to settle in with friends and family and enjoy a relaxed summer day on the Farmstead grounds. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and spend some time taking in the music, scenery, and welcoming community atmosphere.
BBQ at the Farm will take place alongside the Daniels Farmstead’s Weekly Farmers Market. Visitors can browse a rotating selection of local vendors offering locally grown produce, baked goods, handcrafted products, specialty foods, and other locally made finds.
The historic 1750 Daniels farmhouse and Cider Mill will also be open for visitors to explore. Together, the market, music, food, and historic surroundings create an experience that is about much more than stopping by for lunch. It is a chance to spend the afternoon at one of Blackstone’s most distinctive community gathering places.
Admission to the Farmstead and Farmers Market is free, with food and vendor purchases available separately. Parking donations are appreciated and directly support the preservation and care of the historic property and grounds.
Gather your family and friends, arrive hungry, and join us for BBQ at the Farm on Sunday, July 12!
