Market Vendor Resources

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor for the farmers’ market season. We are grateful for the community of vendors who attend and together create the Daniels Farmstead Farmers’ Market; participation as a vendor requires commitment to the Sunday Market Season.

The Farmers’ Market Season begins on the first Sunday of July and continues through each Sunday (rain or shine), to the first Sunday of October. Special events are held throughout the season, and are most often hosted in conjunction with the Farmers’ Market. In addition to Sunday Markets, the Daniels Farmstead Farmers’ Market special events are well attended.

Vendor Rules & Regulations

Daniels Farmstead Sunday Farmers’ Markets are open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Each vendor fee includes one 10′ x 10′ stall, and vendor space is limited. Participating vendors are responsible for supplying their own tables, chairs, and tents.

All Daniels Farmstead Farmers’ Market vendors must be local and may sell only locally grown and/or locally made products. Vendors are required to remain in their assigned space at all times during market hours. Site management does not provide security and is not responsible or liable for any loss, theft, or damage incurred during markets or events.

Each participating vendor must have their space fully set up by 10:45 a.m. on the day of each Sunday market they attend. Vendors selling food products must have valid ServSafe Certification and Allergen Awareness Training approved by the town Board of Health and must provide copies of all required certifications (the Board of Health visits the market frequently). Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the site.

Most farmers’ markets and events are held rain or shine. In the event that a market or event is canceled or postponed due to inclement weather, vendors will be notified by the site manager prior to the scheduled start time. Daniels Farmstead Farmers’ Market site management reserves the right to change these policies at any time, with notice provided of any such changes.
