Freedom Festival

Let freedom ring at the Daniels Farmstead’s Freedom Festival! Join us for a vibrant, patriotic celebration that brings the community together for a day of history, family fun, and good old-fashioned American spirit — all set on the beautiful grounds of a historic New England farm.
Step back in time with engaging programming, including lively fife and drum performances and reenactments by historical interpreters that set the perfect backdrop for a festive and memorable afternoon. With something for every age, this is a perfect outing for the whole family.
Work up an appetite exploring the grounds and fuel up with a delicious selection of festival favorites from Dorris’ Kitchen and classic summer fare from Galliford’s Restaurant and Tavern.
Alongside the festivities, the Weekly Farmers Market will be in full swing — browse organic, locally grown produce, homemade baked goods, and handcrafted goods from local vendors. And don’t miss the chance to explore the historic 1750 Daniels Farmhouse and Cider Mill, both open for tours during market hours.
Don’t miss an exciting performance from the Clafflin Hill Symphony Orchestra from 1 – 3 PM!
The Freedom Festival takes place Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 11 AM – 3 PM at 286 Mendon Street, Blackstone, MA.
